“Leaked” Script Page From Mr. Robot Season 3 Reveals Elliot’s Reaction To President Trump

Mr. Robot creator and showrunner Sam Esmail has made his dislike of President Elect Donald Trump very clear on social media, but he's now shared a "leaked" script page from season 3 showing how Elliot (Rami Malek) would react to the news. Needless to say, it sums up how many people are probably feeling right now. Elliot is far from a positive person, and his view of society is pretty bleak. However, it definitely sounds like the thought of President Trump has made him lose all faith in his fellow Americans.

Fans of Mr. Robot will know that the show takes place smack bang in the middle of President Obama’s time in the White House, so we’re a good few seasons away from it getting the opportunity to address Trump’s reign. It’s possible the series could utilize a time jump, but it really doesn’t sound like a subject Esmail is keen to focus on.

Season 2 of Mr. Robot was met with something of a mixed response due to its slow burn approach and ratings dropped as a result. However, the USA Network still renewed it for a third season, so we can expect the series to return at some point in 2017 – hopefully in a bit of an improved state.
