Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3 Is “Crazier” Than Before, Says Caity Lotz

With The Flash season 3 going off in a darker direction, Legends of Tomorrow was the place to go for classic comic book craziness over this past TV season. With reality-warping MacGuffins like the Spear of Destiny, appearances from George Lucas (not the real one) and even the Legion of Doom, there was much for DC lovers to enjoy. Thankfully, it looks likely that season 3 will continue down a similar route, promising to be even bigger and bolder.

At least, that’s if White Canary star Caity Lotz is to be believed. Speaking with TV Line at a recent event for The CW, here’s what the actress had to share:

“I don’t know much, actually [about season three]… Little bit of some talks about love interests for Sara and that it’s going to be even crazier than it was last season.”

Lotz also teased that there were originally several different drafts of the ending cliffhanger from the finale. The actual scene teased a world where time has become jumbled. For instance, dinosaurs roaming modern day New York City. While she wouldn’t reveal what the alternate versions of the scene were, the actress said that one in particular was “really fun.” She also mentioned that she’d like to get the chance to act with Katarina Law – who plays Nyssa al Ghul – on either Arrow or Legends in the future.

Season 3 of the time travel show will see Sara Lance’s Legends go up against former team leader Rip Hunter’s new gang, the Time Bureau, who have taken it upon themselves to become the new protectors of time and space. At least one new face joining the series will be Tala Ashe, who’s playing Zari Adrianna Tomaz (a very loose adaptation of comic book heroine Isis).

Legends of Tomorrow has been confirmed to return for its new season on Tuesday October 10th. Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the usual place.
