The CW has released the first official images from the 101st episode of Arrow (which airs after next week’s crossover), and in them we get to see Oliver Queen back in his season 1 costume. Chances are that this is a flashback to the events of that year rather than him donning it for other reasons, as we’ve previously heard that Prometheus is tied to the hero’s past.
The gallery above also sees Green Arrow come face to face with the villain in the present day, and that’s a battle which promises to be very exciting indeed. After all, it definitely looks like Prometheus is the superior fighter, so Oliver could end up finding himself way in over his head here.

After Prometheus attacks Curtis (Echo Kellum), Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes Prometheus knows all of Team Arrow’s secret identities and is planning to come for them one by one. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) discover a clue that links Prometheus to Oliver’s past. It was in last week’s episode of Arrow that we learned Artemis has been working for Prometheus all along, so things are beginning to now really heat up in season 5. Given that The Flash revealed the shocking identity of Dr. Alchemy in last night’s instalment, it will be interesting to see whether or not Arrow follows suit and finally shows us who’s beneath the mask.
