Young Levi Miller looks poised to make a name for himself on the big screen as Peter Pan in Joe Wright’s telling of the origins of the “boy who wouldn’t grow up,” but he’s also booked a TV role as Cat Grant’s (Calista Flockhart) son, Carter, on CBS’ Supergirl.

DC Comics fans may recall that the son of Cat Grant and her ex-husband Joe Morgan was named Adam, and he became mixed up in one of Toy Man’s schemes which ultimately cost him his life. Though that may still transpire on the show (Jeremy Jordan is playing Winslow “Winn” Schott AKA the Toyman, after all), TV Line does point out that the character of Carter Grant is “independent of Adam Morgan.”

For now, it sounds like Miller will have a fairly small part to play. He’ll debut in episode 4 as a “sensitive and shy” boy, who “couldn’t be more different from his mom.” Apparently, while Kara (Melissa Benoist) is babysitting him, he will “finally opens up to her — revealing his true feelings for Supergirl.”

Supergirl premieres on Monday, Oct. 26, at 8:30/7:30c, before moving into its regular Mondays-at-8 time slot on Nov. 2.
