New Promo For Arrow’s Midseason Premiere Teases Felicity’s Fate

The CW has released an extended version of the promo for the midseason premiere of Arrow, and it offers up some very interesting clues about what's to come for Felicity after she was gunned down by Damien Darhk's goons in the finale. Will she, like some fans have speculated, end up taking on a similar role to Batman sidekick Oracle? (for those of you who aren't aware, she used to be Batgirl before being paralysed and becoming the Caped Crusader's tech support).

Will she, like some fans have speculated, end up taking on a similar role to Batman sidekick Oracle? For those of you who aren’t aware, she used to be Batgirl before being paralyzed and becoming the Caped Crusader’s tech support. We’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out, but for further information, here’s the synopsis for the episode (which is titled “Blood Debts”):

THE AFTERMATH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) must deal with the devastating consequences of Darhk’s (guest star Neal McDonough) last attack. Seeking revenge, Oliver goes on a brutal manhunt looking for Dahrk. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff.

One of Arrow‘s producers recently confirmed that they’re definitely not going down the Oracle route with Felicity, though a leaked Australian promo did confirm [SPOILER WARNING] that the character is likely going to be confined to a wheelchair moving forward. That’s going to shake up the status quo of the series in a major way, but it still doesn’t explain who exactly is in that grave.

Arrow returns to The CW next Wednesday. Tell us, what are you most looking forward to seeing from the midseason premiere?
