Reverse-Flash Warns Of Flashpoint Fallout In First Clip From The Flash Season 3

When season 3 of The Flash begins, Barry Allen will be enjoying the new life he created for himself by racing back in time to save his mother from the Reverse-Flash. Doing so changed history, but if there's one thing fans of The CW series know full well, it's that playing with time always has some major ramifications - ramifications that Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash is attempting to warn Barry of in this first clip from the premiere.

When season 3 of The Flash begins, Barry Allen will be enjoying the new life he created for himself by racing back in time to save his mother from the Reverse-Flash. Doing so changed history, but if there’s one thing fans of The CW series know full well, it’s that playing with time always has some major ramifications – ramifications that Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash is attempting to warn Barry of in this first clip from the premiere.

While he’s desperate to get out of the prison The Flash has created for him, Thawne makes some valid points about both the selfishness of Barry’s actions and the fact that time has a way of making up for such drastic changes being made to it. We already know from the promos that that’s going to involve the Scarlet Speedster losing his memories, but who knows what else might happen.

In the clip above, Thawne warns The Flash that he’ll soon be begging him to set things right by murdering his mother, and seeing as we already know that the old – but still slightly altered – status quo will be back by episode two, chances are that the premiere will take us to some pretty dark places.

We’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but that won’t take long, as The Flash returns tomorrow night. While you wait, be sure to check out our review of the premiere by clicking here.
