In the midseason finale of The Flash, Barry Allen made his first trip to the future and learned that Savitar will murder Iris West three months from now. When the show returns, it’s going to become the Scarlet Speedster’s mission to save his girlfriend, but to do that, he’ll need a little help from his friends. Among them will be Kid-Flash, but as we learned in a recently released clip, the Fastest Man Alive is going to struggle to get on with his new protege.

We don’t know an awful lot about what to expect from this episode of The Flash just yet, especially as The CW hasn’t released an official synopsis. However, the title has been confirmed as “Borrowing Problems from the Future,” so that may very well provide us with at least a couple of clues about what will happen.

So too do the images in the gallery above, though, as we see the Flash racing into action with Wally against Plunder. He’s set to be an important part of Barry’s mission, as it was during that trip to the future where we saw him being sentenced around the same time as Iris’ murder. That’s something which is sure to lead to Barry wondering if what’s to come really can be altered.

Alas, we too are going to have to wait and see, but be sure to stay tuned for more updates from the second half of The Flash‘s third season over the next few weeks.
