While the world is still enjoying Marvel’s Daredevil series (read our review here), production is already underway on the studio’s next Netflix show, A.K.A. Jessica Jones. The series is currently filming in New York City and as such, some images have begun to leak from the set featuring star Krysten Ritter as the titular heroine along with Mike Colter as Luke Cage and David Tennant as “Purple Man” Zebediah Kilgrave.
As expected, Marvel hasn’t quite committed to giving Tennant purple skin, instead dressing the famous Purple Man in lavender attire. It’s a change that makes sense, especially in the more “grounded” world that these Netflix shows reside in, but it’s a tad disappointing nonetheless.
All 13 episodes of A.K.A. Jessica Jones will debut exclusively on the streaming service later this year. The series is run by Dexter producer Melissa Roseberg and also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Rachel Taylor, Eka Darville, Wil Traval and Erin Moriarty.
