Maya Hawke (yes, she’s the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke) is joining the cast of Netflix’s smash hit Stranger Things for its upcoming third season. And now that promotion for the new run is ever so slightly heating up following a recent tongue-in-cheek promo, the actress has shared a shot from behind the scenes on her Instagram account.

The selfie sees Hawke dressed as her character Robin, who’s described as an “alternative girl” who works at the Scoop Ahoy ice cream parlor at Hawkins’ new mall alongside fan favorite character Steve (Joe Keery), who’s seen next to the actress in this snap. Featured in the gallery down below, the image came accompanied with the caption: “SCOOPS AHOY: OCEANS OF FLAVOR” – which is the tagline for the fictional establishment.

Hawke’s post follows on from that aforementioned teaser for season 3 that revealed Steve and Robin’s workplace. In case you missed it, the short promo took the form a fake 80s-style commercial for Starcourt Mall, a new shopping attraction in the creepy Indiana town. The ad featured Hawke and Keery in character as they unenthusiastically chanted the ice cream place’s motto.

Seeing as Nancy ditched Steve for Jonathan in season 2, we might assume that their working relationship could lead to a romance between Steve and Robin in season 3. However, that’s just speculation at this point. Whatever happens with his love life, we definitely know there’ll be more of “Dad Steve,” as his babysitting of the kids and budding friendship with Dustin last season went down so well with fans.

From what we understand, Stranger Things season 3 will jump forward in time as per usual, this time taking place in summer 1985. The plot has mostly been kept under wraps, but a few set photos have leaked out, which give us some idea of where the characters will be in the next run and also revealed Millie Bobby Brown’s new look as Eleven. The show’s expected to return to Netflix in early 2019 and as soon as we have an exact premiere date, we’ll be sure to let you know.
