New Supergirl Images Tease A Destructive Season Finale

When it comes to the Arrowverse, I guess Supergirl gets bonus points for being the first to arrive and the last to leave this season. Having been forced to endure a lengthy hiatus that lasted for a couple months, the Girl of Steel's series will soon serve up the finale to its third season in a matter of days, something we're not used to seeing from DC shows on average in June. But hey, at least it gives us some new content to enjoy for this month!

Speaking of which, the network has been rather generous when it comes to offering teasers for the ominously titled “Battles Lost and Won.” And as you can see in the accompanying gallery, Selena (not “Serena,” as synopses have erroneously referred to her) has put her plan into action, thus creating much destruction on the streets of National City.

On that note, it does look like we’ll be treated to a final showdown between the Maiden of Might and Reign, now that the latter has been split from Sam and they exist as two separate entities. Still, my gut tells me that both will meet their end and Alex will end up adopting Sam’s daughter, but at least we can enjoy a priceless photo showing the Worldkiller putting Supergirl in a headlock. Believe me, you’ll want to see that one.
