Today, AMC has released a new 30 second promo for the premiere which clearly shows that tensions in the Alexandria Safe-Zone are going to be at an all-time high this year, especially with Rick and Morgan seemingly butting heads. We also get a glimpse at the 650 strong (a record for the show) group of zombies that will be attacking the survivors in the 90 minute opening episode.

Titled “First Time Again,” the season six premiere of The Walking Dead is described as follows by the cable network:

Rick and the group are still having trouble assimilating into Alexandria. Will a new threat bring them closer together or drive them farther apart?

This gigantic herd of the undead appears to be an adaptation of “The Herd” storyline from The Walking Dead comic book, and if it follows that, don’t expect to see everyone make it to the end of this episode.
