Deadline is reporting that another LOST alum will be joining the hit television show Hawaii Five-O. Terry O’Quinn, who played John Locke on LOST, will be returning to the damned Island to join the cast in a pivotal role. He’ll play a “Navy Seal Lt. Commander who trained Alex O’Loughlin’s McGarrett in Coronado. He also holds some of the answers to the mysteries surrounding the respective murders of McGarrett’s mother and father.”
The role will reunite him with fellow LOST alum Daniel Dae Kim who also stars on Hawaii Five-O. I guess both O’Quinn and Kim missed the Island too much to fully give it up. Then again, can you blame them? Hawaii is a great place and after spending all that time there while shooting LOST, I’m sure it was hard to move on.
While I don’t watch Hawaii Five-O regularly, I have seen it on occasion and it’s pretty enjoyable. Terry O’Quinn is a great actor who hasn’t really done much since getting off the Island so it will be nice to see him back on TV, reunited with his fellow LOST co-star.
Makes me wonder though, who’s going to be the next LOST alum to return to Hawaii? Do you think we’ll see anyone else from ABC’s hit show join O’Quinn and Kim on Hawaii Five-O?
