Supergirl has made many comic book dreams a reality in recent weeks and, thanks to three newly released clips from this coming Monday’s episode, it looks as though that trend will continue. Not only will “Solitude” take us to Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, but we will also witness the arrival of Indigo, played by Laura Vandervoort, whom fans will recognize as Smallville’s version of Kara Zor-El.
In the first clip, which can be viewed at the top, a mysterious thumb drive arrives at CatCo as Cat Grant fearlessly disregards any threat it may present. Fans will also want to keep their eyes on the sly Siobhan Smythe, who will play a major role going forward.
The second sneak peek offered, which obviously takes place before the first, sees Siobhan treat her co-workers, Kara and Winn, like dirt. Behavior such as this will make an eventual supervillain turn come as a surprise to no one. And why do I have a feeling Kara’s offhanded comment about throwing her into space will eventually come to fruition?
Our final clip sees Indigo, who is looking much less alien than she will later in the episode, reveal herself as the sender of the thumb drive. She then offers some chilling words to CatCo employees before cutting the feed. Perhaps this is the moment when all realize not to take this member of the Brainiac family lightly.
