TV Talk: The Walking Dead 7×08 “Hearts Still Beating” Review

For this outing of TV Talk, we tackle the midseason finale of The Walking Dead, which aired last night on AMC and gave us one of the show's best episodes in some time. With two shocking deaths, some strong character moments throughout and one hell of an ending, it was an exciting, intense hour and a half of television, one which has us giddy with anticipation for the series to return in February.

Welcome to the latest episode our new video web show, TV Talk. Following hot on the heels of Geek Out, which began several weeks ago, TV Talk is another new weekly series brought to you by We Got This Covered. As the title implies, on each instalment we’ll be taking a look at some of our favorite TV shows and bringing you our thoughts on them in a quick, easy to digest video.

For this outing, we tackle the midseason finale of The Walking Dead, which aired last night on AMC and gave us one of the show’s best episodes in some time. With two shocking deaths, some strong character moments throughout and one hell of an ending, it was an exciting, intense bit of television, one which has us giddy with anticipation for the series to return in February.

We also need to mention Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s performance as Negan here, as the actor continues to knock it out of the park week after week and does another tremendous job in “Hearts Still Beating.” He’s quickly become one of our favorite television villains currently on air and continues to impress us more and more with each passing episode.
