Two Clips From The Flash Magically Appear Ahead Of Tonight’s Episode

It's quite unfortunate that we will soon have to endure a four-week hiatus once tonight's episode of The Flash concludes before returning for the stretch leading to the season finale, but on the plus side, it looks like one hell of a ride awaits us in a few hours.

In the first of two preview clips released by the network, Abra Kadabra shows the team what he’s capable of before being swiftly cuffed by the Scarlet Speedster. Not surprisingly, he immediately places his biggest bargaining chip on the table: The knowledge of Savitar’s true identity. It remains to be seen if that will be divulged tonight, but logic dictates it’ll have to happen sometime soon in order for the cast to have ample time go through the expected acclimation of learning who the big bad is underneath the mask.

Moving on to the second clip, we join Barry Allen and Iris West as they grapple with the moral decision of whether to keep Abra Kadabra in custody or let him go and find out Savitar’s secret. While Iris isn’t entirely sure of the villain’s relationship with the truth, Barry firmly believes him. Either way, it should make for some compelling television.

For more information, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

The Flash (Grant Gustin) battles Abra Kadabra (guest star David Dastmalchian), a villain from Earth-19, who makes him a tempting offer – release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar’s true identity. Desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton), Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages to escape. Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but Gypsy refuses to back down, forcing Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian (Tom Felton) is still a bit cold towards Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
