Titled “Monsters,” it explored conflict within the union of the Alexandrians, Hilltoppers and the Kingdommers, following on from Jesus’ controversially kind decision to let the group of Saviors they encountered at the satellite base live instead of killing them.

Meanwhile, Ezekiel, Carol and their team ventured onto another mission that the king was convinced they would succeed in. Finally, the episode also delivered what we were all waiting for: the resolution to last week’s shocking cliffhanger, which saw Rick confronted by his old friend Morales, who’s been turned into one of Negan’s men.

It was another great outing for the show, all things considered, and the plot of season 8 is continuing to move along nicely, leaving us excited to see where things go from here. Speaking of which, we now have the first promo and sneak peek for next week’s installment, titled “Some Guy,” which you can check out above and below.

The official synopsis for the episode was released a few weeks ago as well and gives us further clues as to what it might deliver. In particular, it teases that this outing will deal with the Saviors gaining the upper hand again, as “a new weapon” falls into their laps which proves to be a massive hurdle for our protagonists.

A new weapon in the Savior arsenal proves to be a giant hurdle as fighting continues between Rick’s forces and those of the Saviors.

Just what is this new danger waiting around the corner for Rick and co., though? It doesn’t take a genius to work out that there could be some more deaths to come, but we’ll just have to wait and see. All we know is that, despite ratings hitting a 5-year lowThe Walking Dead looks to be back on fine form again.

Be sure to tune in when the show returns to AMC on Sunday, November 12th!
