Rick Continues To Enact His Plan In Promo For Next Week’s Walking Dead

After last week's episode mostly focused on Negan and life at the Sanctuary, the latest installment of The Walking Dead aired tonight and switched the spotlight back to Rick and his allies’ all-out war against the Saviors, with just about all of the major ongoing storylines being moved along. After last week’s episode mostly focused on Negan and life at the Sanctuary, the latest installment of The Walking Dead aired tonight and switched the spotlight back to Rick and his allies’ all-out war against the Saviors, with just about all of the major ongoing storylines being moved along. We also got to see the welcome returns of Michonne, Carl and Rosita, who were last seen in the season premiere.

In “The King, The Widow, And Rick,” Andrew Lincoln’s survivor went to the Scavengers to ask for aid in the fight with the Saviors, but was met with a less-than-welcome reception from their leader, Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh, making her first appearance this season). Meanwhile, over at the Hilltop, Maggie struggled with the dilemma of what to do with their prisoners – kill them or let them live – and King Ezekiel was still reeling for the recent losses of his Kingdommers and, of course, his beloved pet tiger Shiva.

All in all, this was another great hour of television for the show, and the plot of season 8 is continuing to move along nicely, leaving us excited to see where things go from here. Speaking of which, we now have the first promo and sneak peek for next week’s installment, titled “Time for After,” which you can check out above and below.

In addition to that, the official synopsis for the episode was released a few weeks ago as well and gives us further clues as to what it might deliver, hinting at dire times to come for Negan, as Rick’s alliance gains the upper hand.

Negan has to enlist the help of his lieutenants in solving a huge issue facing the Sanctuary; Rick and the group continue to enact the plan.

Be sure to tune in when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, December 3rd!
