Exclusive Video Interview With Steve Aoki At TomorrowWorld 2014

There aren't too many DJs out there like Steve Aoki. The 36 year-old artist is known for putting on wild shows, often throwing cakes into the audience and crowd surfing on inflatable rafts. He's been behind some of the biggest remixes of the past couple of years and has put out one hit after another, cementing himself as one of EDM's most influential and consistent DJs.

Despite having reached almost legendary status in the industry, Aoki is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, his new album, titled Neon Future, just released today and already it’s proving to be successful, having hit #1 on the iTunes Dance charts mere hours after its release. Our very own Edan Posner gave it a mostly favourable review and already having listened to it several times myself, I can safely say that fans of the over the top DJ will definitely be in for a treat.

Speaking of treats, this past weekend at TomorrowWorld 2014 I had the chance to sit down for an exclusive interview with Steve Aoki. Though our time was brief, we spoke about Neon Future, what to expect from part two of the album (which drops in 2015), what’s going on over at his record label Dim Mak and much more.

Check it out in the video above and enjoy the interview! Also, please note that the audio dropped briefly for my first question, which was why he decided to split the album into two parts. So, the interview opens up as Aoki is giving his answer.
