10 days.

That’s all that’s left standing between now and April 27th. And we all know what that means – Avengers: Infinity War is teetering on the verge of release.

It’s been a long time coming, but after 10 years and 18 movies’ worth of cinematic build-up, directors Joe and Anthony Russo look set to deliver the ultimate payoff. Adding to that sense of finality is the mighty Thanos, whose power defies belief…and that’s before he’s even collected all six Infinity Stones.

Standing in his way are Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, who team with the likes of Doctor Strange, Black Panther and the Guardians of the Galaxy to take one last stand against the alien invasion. The fate of the world – nay, the fate of the universe – hangs in the balance, and up above you’ll be able to take another peek at the blockbuster action that’s still to come.

Also of note, the Russo Brothers have been quoted as saying that the inevitable Infinity War Blu-ray will come packing a truckload of extras, which is to say that fans can expect more deleted scenes than you can shake an Infinity Gauntlet at.

But let’s not get too carried away; Infinity War is now a mere 10 days out from its theatrical release, and though there is still a big risk of spoilers spilling onto the interwebs ahead of time, Joe and Anthony Russo have politely asked fans to refrain from ruining the experience for their fellow viewers – just as they wouldn’t like it to be ruined for them.

Expect Avengers: Infinity War to propel the MCU to dizzying new heights on April 27th. And after that? Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is perhaps the perfect, comedy-infused tonic to Marvel’s epic, and it’s due to scurry into theaters on July 6th.
