Today a new trailer for the upcoming film The Social Network was released. Starring Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland) and Andrew Garfield (the new Spider-Man), the film tells the story of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook.

Today a new trailer for the upcoming film The Social Network has released. Starring Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland) and Andrew Garfield (the new Spider-Man), the film tells the story of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook.

The film, based on Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires, is highly anticipated. The story looks like it will offer an interesting behind the scenes look at the founding of Facebook.

Fincher is a great director and he is responsible for some great films like Fight Club and Seven. He’s also directing off a strong source material as the book by Mezrich was very well reviewed. Mezrich is also the author of the book, Bringing Down The House, which the film 21 was based on.

The film hits theatres October 1, 2010.
