Last night Machinima’s Inside Gaming Awards(not to be confused with tonights Video Game Awards) was shown through a stream on their website. I tuned in, and here is a recap of the winners.

Best Weapon: Just Cause 2’s Grappling Gun
Best Original Score: Red Dead Redemption
Best In-Game Innovation: Halo Reach’s Forge 2.0
Best Indie Game: Minecraft
Most Compelling Character: Red Dead’s John Marston
Best DLC: Mass Effect 2’s Lair of the Shadow Broker
Most Original Game: Minecraft
Best Sound Design: Red Dead Redemption
Best Trailer: Deus Ex 3
Best Control Scheme: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Best Art Direction: Kirby’s Epic Yarn
Best Narrative: Red Dead Redemption
Best Cinematography: God of War 3
Best Downloadable Game: Limbo

Is it me or does it seem like the Machinima staff didn’t have very many games to play? I will agree Red Dead was a great game, however, that many awards? Well, if you say so Machinima. Also, I personally would have given best indie games to Amnesia: The Dark Descent, that game shook me to the core. Another dispute of mine, Minecraft most original game? Wasn’t it based off of Dwarf Fortress and Infiniminer? What do you guys think about Machinima’s picks? What would you change? Let us know in the comments below!
