68th Golden Globe Nominations Announced

The nominations for the HFPA's 66th Golden Globe Awards have been announced. It's no big surprise that in the film categories The King's Speech leads the pack with 7 nominations. he Social Network follows with 6 with Inception and The Fighter close behind that with 4. In the television categories, Glee leads with 5 nominations, following this Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire and Dexter are the competing heavyweights with 3 nominations each. What is shocking is that the Coen Brothers' True Grit scored nil in the nominations despite huge critical praise coming from the press screenings. Also surprising are the 3 nominations for The Tourist, which has been placed in there obviously to fill out the categories. The full list of nominations is below.
