So here it is Call of Duty fans, the news you’ve been waiting for. The first set of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops has now been detailed and dated. First Strike, as it will be called, will be a timed exclusive for the XBOX 360 and will hit the Marketplace on February 1, 2010, for 1200 Microsoft Points. Gamers will get four new multiplayer maps and one new map for the zombie mode.

According to Joystiq, the maps will include the following:

“Discovery,” based on the Reznov mission and taking place in an Antarctic research station; “Kowloon” set in, of course, Kowloon, this time on rooftops; “Berlin Wall,” a fight at Checkpoint Charlie; and “Stadium,” set in an American hockey rink. It also includes a Zombie map, “Ascension.”

So in total we get five maps for 1200 Microsoft Points, not a bad deal at all. I’ll most likely be picking this up and I’m sure the majority of Call of Duty gamers will be as well. The maps sound interesting, especially Stadium and new maps are always a welcome addition, in any video game.

Will you be picking up this map pack?
