Battlefield 3 To Be Unveiled at GDC 2011

Even though DICE just released the latest expansion to Battlefield Bad Company 2 a few weeks ago, publisher Electronic Arts revealed that it will host an unveiling event on March 1st, 2011 during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco to unveil the next installment of their acclaimed military shooter Battlefield 3.

Even though DICE just released the latest expansion to Battlefield Bad Company 2 a few weeks ago, publisher Electronic Arts revealed that it will host an unveiling event on March 1st, 2011 during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco to unveil the next installment of their acclaimed military shooter Battlefield 3.

Players who bought the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor last year also received access to the Battlefield 3 beta, although no information regarding when the beta goes live is available at this time.

Battlefield 3 is expected to release later this year.

New announcements and hands-on time will also be available during GDC 2011 for other upcoming EA titles such as Shadows of the Damned, Alice Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and Crysis 2.
