Resistance: Burning Skies Has Planned Its Vita Invasion For May

Sure, Insomniac Games may have moved on from its popular Resistance franchise. However, that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of the Chimeran forces. In fact, they will make a return on May 29, with the release of Resistance: Burning Skies – a Vita exclusive spin-off which was created by the folks at Nihilistic Software.

With Resistance: Burning Skies, gamers will be treated to a portable telling of a specific part of the Chimeran invasion. The game’s campaign centres in on the year 1951, as the gun-toting aliens are attempting to take over the eastern seaboard of the United States and only you, an average, working class firefighter named Tom Riley can stop their advance.
