Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD, the remastered downloadable port of the acclaimed 2005 action shooter, was made available last December on the PlayStation Network. However, its total size was 2.1 GB and as Xbox Live Arcade titles have a size limit of 2 GB, Microsoft would not allow the current version to be released on their console.

That may change though as in a recent interview with VG247, Stewart Gilray, CEO of Just Add Water, the company responsible for the port, hinted that while the company’s direct negotiations with Microsoft fell through, they still may be able to work out a deal through a third-party company, and are currently in talks with three unspecified parties.

At the moment, it is unclear how they plan to work around the size limit issue but we’ll keep you posted when we hear more.
