It seems as if the previously mentioned July 3 release date for The Amazing Spider-Man video game was just a placeholder. Thanks to a new Rhino-heavy trailer, we now know to expect our favourite gaming devices to fill with web on June 26. It’s safe to assume that some gamers will wait until after seeing the film to play through its interactive companion, in an attempt to stay spoiler free. However, some may opt for the button-based version first. To each their own, right?
The Amazing Spider-Man is being developed by Beenox, with Activision set to tackle publishing duties. It will be released onto Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS and DS.
