The ghosts of Silent Hill‘s past are going to have to wait a little while longer before they make their surreal return. Konami just announced that it has moved its Silent Hill HD Collection set to March 20, from its previously listed March 6 release date. The compilation has been playing a game of musical release dates, after having been set to launch in January. Let’s hope that this date will remain concrete.
The Silent Hill HD Collection contains remastered versions of two of its classics: Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. Both were released during our last console generation, spooking an audience who looked forward to seeing what went bump in the night. That, or the fog. In fact, Silent Hill 2 is still one of the most popular survival horror games of all-time.
Even though this delay has officially taken effect, you can still look forward to a trio of unique nightmares from Konami next month. That is, if all three dates stick.
Here’s the revised schedule:
Silent Hill: Downpour – March 13
Silent Hill HD Collection – March 20
Silent Hill: Book of Memories (Vita) – March 27
