Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Confirmed For Fall Release

The Sly Cooper games were one of Sony’s big exclusive series during the days of the PlayStation 2, but original developer Sucker Punch Productions chose to tread new ground on the PS3 with their pair of Infamous games, leaving Sly by the wayside and without a remastered PS3 compilation of the original games.

That’s about to change though, as Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the first new entry in the series since 2005’s Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, has been confirmed to be getting a release later this fall on the PlayStation 3. With a plot focusing on time travel and meeting the titular raccoon’s ancestors, as well as new costumes that grant the noble thief new abilities, the game is sure to excite Sly fans everywhere.

The game is being developed by Sanzaru Games, the same studio who ported the original trilogy in last year’s The Sly Collection.
