Ubisoft Confirms Assassin’s Creed III Will Be On The Wii U

This is a bit unexpected. Today, Ubisoft confirmed via press release that Assassin’s Creed III will be making its way to Wii U. Sure, we knew that Ubisoft had promised that an Assassin’s Creed game would be making the jump to Nintendo’s next platform, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this one.

Since Ubisoft has promised we’ll see Assassin’s Creed III on the Wii U by “the end of 2012”, I suppose we have to take this as confirmation that we’ll be seeing the Wii U by the end of the year as well.

Nintendo fanboys, commence rejoicing.
