Last week we heard news that rising star Elizabeth Olsen was in talks to star in Spike Lee‘s remake of the Korean classic Oldboy. Recently, while making the press rounds for her new film Silent House, MTV threw some Oldboy related questions at the young actress, which she tried to dodge.

In the video below, MTV tries to sneak some answers out of Olsen in regards to the film’s controversial ending, which was an absolute shocker. Of course, Olsen doesn’t say too much and rightfully so. I’m sure Lee has some pretty great ideas in store for the ending and I’m sure his version of it will be just as terrifying. In fact, apparently it’s going to be even darker.

Admittedly, I’m still hesitant on the remake. I LOVE the original Oldboy. It’s an incredible film and one of my all time favorites. I’m super curious to see the American remake but I’m not exactly hopeful. That being said, there is some strong talent involved and my fingers are crossed.
