Yesterday at GDC former Capcom developer, and Mega Man creator, Keiji Inafune announced that he is currently developing a new unnamed title for Sony’s PlayStation Vita.

Keiji made the impromptu announcement during a talked called “The Future of Japanese Games”. After discussing his work on the upcoming 3DS game King of Pirates, he casually mentioned that he was “challenging himself” developing for the Vita. Shortly after the statement Keiji must have realized what he said because he quickly asked the audience to forget that he had said anything.

Considering the way this unnamed title was revealed, it would seem that development is at a very early stage and it will likely be some time before we hear anything official about the project.
