Man, I really hope the lawyers were getting paid by the hour here.  Bethesda and Mojang finally were able to come to an agreement over the Scrolls trademark, but sadly it never did come down combat in the Quake 3 arena.

The basic gist of the settlement is that while Mojang will be able to release Scrolls as… well Scrolls, Bethesda is going to have the trademark to the name.  In addition, Mojang won’t be able to use the Scrolls mark for any other game or sequel to Scrolls.

So now that Mojang and Bethesda are friends again everything seems right in the world.  Now if we can just get them to have that Quake 3 match anyways.
