Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have signed on to star in a new romantic comedy entitled Relanxious. The film, which will be the directorial debut from writer Christopher Storer, will also feature Brie Larson and Fred Armisen.

Before we go on, check out the plot summary below.

“Barrett (Wilde), an anxiety-ridden woman who meets and is smitten with George (Sudeikis), whose agoraphobia limits their relationship to phone conversations in which they discuss the dates they would go on if their phobias didn’t stand in the way. After enough time talking to one another, the pair are forced to decide if they can put aside their fears in order to find real-life romance.”

Personally, I like the sound of this. It definitely has a little flair and originality that could really set it apart from the other cookie cutter rom-coms out there.

Wilde has been stacking her resume lately, with films like Cowboys And Aliens and The Change Up and on top of that, she has another 4 films coming out in 2012. She also just shot the magician comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and is now filming Ron Howard‘s Rush.

As for Sudeikis, besides from his Saturday Night Live gig, he had success in 2011 with Hall Pass and Horrible Bosses, and will also been seen later this year in The Campaign and Movie 43.

No word yet on when the film will go into production but later this year seems likely. We will keep you posted on more information as it arises.
