Showing just how much they plan to support SoulCalibur V after launch, Namco has announced a handful of changes going underway next week to the matchmaking service, as well as planned DLC in the coming months.

In terms of the title update, Namco plans to fix matchmaking a bit and make it less likely you’ll be put up against someone who knows nothing other than breathing and fighting. The title update will also fix character balance a bit. But they better not touch my Nightmare. He’s perfect just the way he is. The update should hit Wednesday, March 21.

Namco has also mentioned they’ll be releasing monthly costume DLC. No pricing or other details were released, but we know the first pack will hit respective digital marketplaces on the first week of April.

Although, personally, I don’t think they’ll be able to beat Astaroth’s awesome robot executioner look, but that’s just me.

What say you, gamers? What costumes are you hoping for?
