Grand Theft Auto V will be launching in October of this year, according to the CV of a Rockstar North employee. Beneath the ‘Shipped Titles’ section of character animator Alex O’Dwyer‘s CV is a listing for Grand Theft Auto V, showing the sandbox game as an October 2012 release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
The CV has now been pulled, but Joystiq managed to capture a screenshot of the potential mistake. They’ve reached out to O’Dwyer and Rockstar for comment, but have heard from neither. Don’t hold your hopes up for an exciting response, since Rockstar will want to hold the release date close to its chest. Thus far, all we’ve heard from them is that the game will be releasing “sometime between now and 2014.”
