Skullgirls, the downloadable 2D fighting game developed by Reverge Labs & published by Konami, will be available as part of tonight’s weekly PlayStation Network update, as well as tomorrow’s weekly Xbox Live Arcade update.

The game is an exclusively digitally distributed fighter with hand-drawn graphics, a unique tag team system, and a diverse, all-female cast. It will retail for $14.99 on the PSN and an equivalent 1200 Microsoft points on Xbox Live.

In addition, the developer has released a new trailer showcasing the grotesque shape-shifting character Double, and her abilities to temporarily transform into other characters and unleash retro game-inspired super attacks with references to such games as Gradius.
