Trekkers Rejoice: The First Gameplay Trailer For Namco Bandai’s Star Trek Video Game Has Arrived

Namco Bandai's in-development Star Trek game won't be beaming down until sometime in early 2013, but that hasn't stopped the publisher from releasing a brief gameplay trailer to get Trekkers talking. Not a lot is shown, but you will notice a lot of jumping, in addition to other forms of gravity-based action. It's a good thing that Kirk and Spock don't suffer from vertigo.

In addition to the trailer’s debut after a behind closed doors appearance at Namco Bandai‘s Gamer Day event, three neat-looking pieces of conceptual art from the licensed title were also made available. You can check them out below.

This interactive companion to J.J. Abrams‘ upcoming Star Trek sequel will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
