Rihanna Is Front And Center In Coldplay’s Princess Of China Video

A video for the Rihanna and Coldplay collaboration Princess Of China has been released but the British group is nowhere to be found. Instead, Rihanna takes center stage adorned in Pan-Asian make up and jewellery doing a mysterious arm dance in front of brightly-coloured visuals. It's trippy to say the least.

A video for the Rihanna and Coldplay collaboration Princess Of China has been released but the British group is nowhere to be found. Instead, Rihanna takes center stage adorned in Pan-Asian make up and jewellery doing a mysterious arm dance in front of brightly-coloured visuals. It’s trippy to say the least.

Even though the fourth single from their groundbreaking Mylo Xyloto album was officially released back in February, this Coldplay-free video did not get an official release until today.

Coldplay‘s presence (both visually and vocally) is played down in the video because the clip is originally designed to be an accompaniment during the band’s world tour. Since Rihanna can’t join the band in person during shows, this video was created to fill in the gap when they perform Princess Of China.
