Outside of Mad Men, Hamm hasn’t really done too much. Then again, he doesn’t really need to, not with the salary he’s making from his hit TV show. That being said, when we have seen him in film, he has impressed. I thought he was great in The Town and I really enjoyed his recent film, Friends With Kids. When it comes to the story of J.B. Bernstein, I’m not too familiar with him but I’m sure it will make for a great movie, especially with Hamm in the lead.

Jon Hamm is a fantastic actor and as good as Mad Men is, I’m eager to see him start doing more work in film. I love the character of Don Draper but I’m interested to see how Hamm handles other roles. He’s succeeded thus far in his film career and hopefully he’ll continue to do so. It would be a shame if he dropped off the map after Mad Men. Truthfully, I’m hoping to see an Oscar in his hand one day and if he continues the excellent work he’s doing now, that may very well happen.
