Is Battlefield 3 Getting A COD Elite Like Service?

There's a rumor going that EA plans to announce a new Call of Duty like "Elite" service for its downloadable content at this years E3. According to a source from Battlefieldo, the new program would be entitled "Battlefieldâ„¢ Premium".

There’s a rumor going that EA plans to announce a new Call of Duty like “Elite” service for its downloadable content at this years E3. According to a source from Battlefieldo, the new program would be entitled “Battlefieldâ„¢ Premium”.

The DLC service will more then likely be EA and DICE‘s new way to drop content for players still heavily invested in the game whether on PC or consoles. The service will have everything from content drops to in-game items not available anywhere else. We also seem to have a date for the announcement of the DLC during E3 set for June 4th.
