With The Avengers busy pulling in outrageous amounts of money at the box office, all heads have turned to the individual heroes themselves. Marvel is in the spotlight and in the past few weeks we’ve been hearing a lot of information about some of their other properties.

Thor 2 star Chris Hemsworth recently spoke with MTV about the sequel, particularly about the Thor/Loki dynamic. Here’s what he had to say.

“It’s what I loved about the comics. It was never clean and cut and that’s it. It was always like, Thor would forgive him, they’d be friends, and Loki would betray him again. ‘You idiot, Thor! Again?’ But it was different than your normal good guy, bad guy scenario. They’re brothers, you know? Anyone with siblings understands that. ‘That’s it, I’m never talking to you again… want to play football?’”

For those who have seen The Avengers, you’ll know that Loki is in big trouble with his brother and of course, he’s going to have to pay the price. When MTV tried to get some more details out of Hemsworth on the topic, he played coy.

“He’s got to apologize, doesn’t he? Baked goods. Muffins or something. That would be a bribe we could start with. Beyond that, I don’t know.”

Admittedly, I wasn’t the biggest fan of Thor. Although, after watching The Avengers I am more inclined to see the sequel.

I love the character of Loki and I think Tom Hiddleston is brilliant in the role, his dynamic with Thor is very interesting. There’s also the fact that frequent Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor is stepping behind the camera, and I do love me some Game of Thrones.

All things considered, I think the sequel could be a big improvement from the original.

Thor 2 is scheduled to open in theaters on November 15th, 2013
