Ubisoft has confirmed that it will hold a closed beta test for Far Cry 3 this summer, detailing two ways for fans to get themselves involved in the two week bullet fest.

The black and white way to gain entrance is to sign up for a PowerUp Rewards membership at GameStop, then purchase Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier using it. However, those who wish to pass on that step can also test their luck by going to the publisher’s Facebook page, where five hundred codes will be given away at some point in the relatively near future.

As of right now, we’re not sure of when this closed beta test will occur. However, it has been confirmed that both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users will be able to get in on the action.
