The first Sin City was a unique film that had its own style and direction, it was also brilliantly adapted from the graphic novel by Frank Miller. Not too long ago we heard that Miller and Robert Rodriguez will be bringing the sequel to the big screen, with a script co-written by Academy Award® winner William Monahan.

We don’t know a whole lot outside of the title but more then likely, as with everything on the internet, the news will leak out sooner or later. Cast members Jessica Alba and Mickey Rourke are confirmed to be returning in the film but no word yet on anyone else.

Today though, we did get a release date. Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will hit theaters on October 4th, 2013.

Like I said above, we don’t really know a whole lot more about the film but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
