A trio of unconfirmed Beyond Good & Evil 2 screenshots that look to be from the no-longer-in-development 360/PS3 version of the game, have found their way to the internet

None of the screenshots have been officially confirmed by Ubisoft, so the safe bet is to consider them to be rumors until the company says otherwise. With that in mind, these new screens are consistent with a previously leaked screenshot that was allegedly of the current-gen build of Beyond Good & Evil 2.

These new screenshots differ in that they show a close up of Jade’s character model, we can even see her face for the first time. Honestly, the screenshots look pretty bad compared to other current-gen games but since they are from an [allegedly] unfinished build of the game that is to be expected.

Working under the assumption that these are real, I’m actually glad that Ubisoft decided to move the game to the next generation of consoles. The original Beyond Good & Evil got much of its charm from its semi-cartoon artstyle, and this game appears to be going for a more realistic look. Here’s hoping that the next time we see Beyond Good & Evil 2 its art style sticks a little closer to its roots.
