Sega May Be Publishing The Latest Double Fine Title

Double Fine, founded by Tim Schafer and creators of such games as Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, and Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster, has recently been teasing at the announcement of a new title by releasing various teaser images of some of the characters, along with the fact that veteran developer Ron Gilbert, creator of the Monkey Island series, is heading development.

Now, Sega has released a mysterious new image via their official Twitter. While nothing has been confirmed, the forest background appears to match up with the backgrounds in the character images released thus far. The most logical conclusion is that Sega may be the company that helps to publish and distribute the game.

There will likely be more news on this very soon, especially with E3 just around the corner.
