It’s been a bloodsucker-filled week for the folks at Konami. Hot off the heels of its Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow – Mirror of Fate 3DS announcement, the Japanese video game giant has revealed that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is also in development (for our favourite high-definition consoles) at MercurySteam Entertainment.
The expected sequel to the series’ 2010 reboot became official at the company’s second-annual pre-E3 showcase, which was held last night. Those watching the event were treated to a computer-generated trailer, though that was all. Unsurprisingly, the teaser certainly didn’t skimp on its inclusion of gigantic monsters, Gothic architecture, shadow-filled environments and, of course, vampires.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be at next week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
