It’s official: The first downloadable add-on for Crystal DynamicsTomb Raider reboot will be released onto Xbox LIVE before it makes its way onto any other service. The publisher has signed a time exclusivity contract, which Microsoft hopes will make consumers choose the Xbox 360 version of the much-anticipated game over Sony‘s offering.

Prior to the aforementioned announcement, Square Enix representatives showcased new footage from Lara Croft’s next outing. Like all of the game’s previously released media, it looked great, showing off one action-packed set piece after another.

Tomb Raider will be released on March 5, 2013.
