In a bizarre last-minute move, the downloadable Kinect-based rail shooter Crimson Dragon for Xbox 360 has been delayed from its original Japanese release date of June 13 to an unspecified date.
The game, formerly known as Project Draco, is the brainchild of Yukio Futatsugi, one of the directors of Sega‘s classic Panzer Dragoon series. The last entry in that franchise was way back in 2003 with Panzer Dragoon Orta for the original Xbox, so the news of a spiritual successor of sorts was exciting.
With any luck, a new release date, and hopefully a Western release, will be announced in the near future.
