Forget Lex Luthor, it’s time for Robert Downey, Jr. to play Bezos in the inevitable Amazon movie

It's quite the drastic change.

One of the most recognizeable men in the world, Robert Downey Jr., shocked pretty much everyone when he debuted his brand new bald head recently at an awards show. Now people think he should be playing Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos in a movie.

Downey was photographed on the red carpet at the 13th Governors Awards along with his wife Susan. The 57-year-old actor looked slim in a flattering black suit and tie.

“Honored to be amongst great company at this year’s Governor’s Ball. A big congrats to this year’s inspiring recipients. Thank you @netflix & @theacademy for having us,” the Iron Man actor said in an Instagram post.

He recently shaved his head for an upcoming role in the HBO Max show The Sympathizer, an adaptation of a Pulitzer Prize winning novel by the same name written by Viet Thanh Nguyen.

The story involves a “half-French, half-Vietnamese man who served as a spy for Communist forces during the Vietnam War,” according to IMDB.

However, most fans think he could play a different role.

We could list a few more but honestly they are all pretty much the same. With all this attention, it’s not impossible that it might happen. Downey actually posted an Instagram video of the genesis of his bald head with his sons shaving it earlier last month.

“I don’t want to have to wear a bald cap, so will you guys shave my head?” Downey asked in the video. He also let his kids paint the back of his head orange like a jack o’lantern. No word yet on whether Bezos approves or not.
